7.1 On various occasions the Clinic may have trainees, medical residents, students, dietitians, and/or interns accompanying working doctors present. The opportunity for the Clinic to contribute to training and developing future doctors and allied health care professionals is considered extremely valuable.

7.2 Patients of the Clinic retain the right to request trainees, medical residents, students, dietitians, and/or interns not take part in or be present during the provision of care. The Clinic encourages all patients to support the development and teaching of trainees as part of their treatment team by allowing them to contribute to their care.
